It’s not often that I’m completely stumped for info about an artist but this time the Internet has failed me. So let’s just enjoy Carol Cool’s reggaefied version of Diana Ross’s disco hit.
All I can tell you about the singer is that her real name is Carol Cole and she once went by Downtown “Cool” Bernadette.
Her version of Upside Down appeared on the B-side of a split single in 1980 with someone called Desi Roots, singing One In A Million You, on the A-side.
